Using Radio World

Radio World helps you discover independent radio stations, organize a personal library and listen to broadcasts. These terms cover the app, this website and the catalog/support services operated by the person identified below. Applicable mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

Use Radio World lawfully and follow any terms that apply to a broadcaster or external music service. You are responsible for your device, network connection and any mobile-data charges. Listening while driving should follow local law; use CarPlay and vehicle controls only when it is safe to do so.

Independent broadcasts

Radio stations and their streaming providers supply their own audio. They can change a stream, restrict access by location, interrupt a program or stop broadcasting. A listing is not a guarantee that a station will be available in every place or at every time.

Stations, music, programs, logos and other third-party content belong to their respective rights holders. Listing a station does not imply endorsement or affiliation. Radio World does not grant you a right to record, copy, redistribute or commercially exploit broadcasts.

Discovery and song information

Categories, station details, approximate map locations and station-provided song titles may be incomplete or inaccurate. Map points are aids to discovery, not transmitter locations or broadcast coverage claims.

Manual song recognition can fail or identify a different recording. Links to Apple Music, Spotify or other services are optional ways to find music and are subject to each provider’s availability, account requirements and terms. Radio World is not affiliated with those providers merely because it offers links or uses their services.

Your library and Apple services

The app can store your library on your device and synchronize it through your private iCloud account. Sync depends on compatible software, your Apple account, iCloud availability and a network connection. Keep your Apple account secure. Apple’s own terms govern Apple services.

You do not create a separate Radio World account with us to listen. See the Privacy Policy for information about local storage, iCloud and support requests.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the operation of the app or its services, attempt unauthorized access, use the catalog API for abusive automated traffic, submit unlawful or misleading support content, or use Radio World to violate another person’s rights. Rights that applicable law gives you, including rights relating to interoperability, are not removed by this clause.

Support, changes and availability

You can contact us or use Report an Issue in the app. Submitting a report confirms receipt when the app says so; it does not guarantee a fix or a response within a particular time.

We may update features, station information and these terms as the app develops. The website currently describes a pre-release application; store availability, release timing, interface and features may change. Any future purchase or subscription terms must be disclosed through the relevant store before purchase.

Responsibility and your statutory rights

We aim to provide a useful, dependable app, but cannot promise uninterrupted radio, complete station metadata or error-free third-party services. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an availability basis.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits a remedy where doing so would be unlawful, including any mandatory consumer protections. The applicable legal requirements take precedence over conflicting language in this draft.
